Once you have your snow machine in hand, the first decision is where to place it. Ideal placement of a snow machine is largely determined by the type of event and venue. Regardless of event and venue, placing the machine up high is a great place to start. In order to create a realistic flake, it is important that flakes fall from above. While this seems obvious, many event organizers understandably try to find ways to avoid placing the machine up high. Refilling machines and controlling units up high can be difficult. While a machine placed as high as possible is idea, there are a few tips to cheat a bit. Our Snow Machines, can shoot snow up at as much as a 30 degree angle before it falls down. The more hang time the flakes have, the more time they have to evaporate for the driest flake possible. If you don’t have the height, you can also make the flakes smaller with our included remote to speed up the dissipation rate.
Snow machines can sit on any flat surface or easily hang from a truss or light stand. They can even be zip tied up to more non-traditional spots like trees or balconies. Our units can shoot 25-40ft in distance depending on the height of the unit. Since our machines shoot snow out before it falls, it is important to have the unit off center so it shoots towards the snow sweet spot. For a stage, it is ideal to have the snow machines shoot from the wings. Therefore for a Christmas tree lighting, a snow machine placed directly above the tree would not give the best snow on the tree itself.
When placed outdoors, wind becomes a major consideration on machine placement. Even a mild wind can make the flakes fly through the air just like real snow or fog would. Therefore, if wind is consistent, make sure to take it into consideration as you place your snow machine. For a more inconsistent wind, multiple snow machines from different angles may allow you to hedge your bets for a great effect despite air conditions.

When you think of Disney’s Frozen, what do you see? Surely the first thing that comes to mind is the films snowy expanses. Frozen centers on ice and snow as much as it does on its characters; the film’s stunning rendering of harsh winter weather won it praise from critics and fans alike. If you’re planning to throw a Frozen theme party and you really want to make it memorable, there’s one surefire way to do it: Adding snow.
Snow Machine Rentals Add Life to Your Frozen Party
Creating snow from thin air isn’t just a talent of Elsa, Frozen’s magical princess. It’s also something you can do on your own by renting a cutting-edge snow machine. At Blank Extreme Entertainment, we offer professional artificial snow equipment that creates beautiful, atmospheric snow that looks almost identical to real falling snow. Set the machine up and fill it with the included fluid and you’ll be ready to turn your backyard into a real-life recreation of Frozen’s Arendelle.
Snow output can be adjusted to your liking, allowing for everything from a light flurry to a serious blizzard. Once you’ve got it set up and tuned to your liking, you can use the device’s remote control to manage the snow output without any further muss or fuss. Adding the touch of snow to your Frozen theme party will ensure that your children and their guests never forget this amazing experience.
Snow machine rental also has another big advantage: Artificial snow leaves virtually no residue to clean up. Don’t worry about having to dig yourself out of a snowbank at the end of the party, as the snow machine creates only beautiful snow that doesn’t stick or gather. It’s there while it falls, and gone seconds later.
